Owner
Chris is originally from South Africa, but has lived in the BVI for 25 years. He now owns two local companies, We Be Divin’ and Commercial Dive Services, and founded Beyond The Reef, non-profit organization based in the BVI.
His love for the ocean and the BVI runs deep and has resulted in him becoming a valuable and well-liked member of the local community.
Scuba & Freedive Intructor
Margy moved to the BVI from South Africa in early 2022 and has since been leading dive trips and teaching courses for We Be Divin’. She and her partner, Reece, spearhead the regularly run Freedive courses and excursions.
Her passion for the ocean and her love for teaching make her very popular among students and guests. Her favorite dive sites are the RMS Rhone, Chikuzen and Thumb Rock
captain & scuba & freedive instructor
Reece, another South African, moved to the BVI in early 2022. He helps out with the leading of dives, teaching of courses – both scuba and freediving – as well as being our trusty captain and maintenance man!
His sense of humor and easy-going personality makes all trips fun and enjoyable for all those aboard the boat.
Scuba Instructor
The newest addition to our team, Kitty moved from the UK to the BVI in early 2023! After university she travelled to Bali to become an Instructor and discovered her love for teaching and travelling. She is now one of our dive leaders and Instructors.
Kitty takes pride in sharing her knowledge and skills with divers of all levels, and her bubbly personality makes all trips a fun experience!
Shop dog
Margy and Reece rescued Star in September of 2022 during a tropical storm, and he never left! He now acts as our shop assistant, guard dog, and doordog. He loves belly rubs, human food and puppies.
