Chris is originally from South Africa, but has lived in the BVI for roughly 25 years. He now owns two local companies, We Be Divin’ and Commercial Dive Services, and founded Beyond The Reef; a non-profit organization based in the BVI.
His love for the ocean, goats and the BVI runs deep and has resulted in him becoming a valuable and well-liked member of the local community.
Scuba & Freedive Intructor
Margy moved to the BVI from South Africa in early 2022 and has since been leading dive trips and teaching courses for We Be Divin’.
Her passion for the ocean and her love for teaching make her very popular among students and guests. Her favorite dive sites are the RMS Rhone, Chikuzen and Thumb Rock.
Photographer and videographer
Belinda, another South African, and also known as Buzzy, moved to the BVI in late 2023. She is our friendly underwater photographer and videographer, still exploring the BVI at any chance she gets.
Her love for marine life extends to every fin, scale, and seashell. A true adventurer, she’s always up for exploring, and finding joy in the simple things life has to offer.
Scuba Instructor
Kitty moved from the UK to the BVI in early 2023! After university she travelled to Bali to become an Instructor and discovered her love for teaching and travelling. She is now one of our dive leaders and Instructors.
Kitty takes pride in sharing her knowledge and skills with divers of all levels, and her bubbly personality makes all trips a fun experience!
dive master
Lucie grew up in the BVI and is a huge fan of the Caribbean corals. She first started working for We Be Divin’ as a dedicated rescue diver back in 2022. Driven by her passion for the underwater world, she left for Honduras to obtain her Dive Masters.
Lucie has returned to We Be Divin’ to integrate her passion and new found knowledge, making every dive with her a thrilling and enriching experience.
DIVE MASTER & MARINE BIOLOGIST
Amy brings her vibrant spirit all the way from Stirling, Scotland to join the We Be Divin’ team in the British Virgin Islands.
Amy has a degree in both Marine Biology and Tropical Marine Biology. She achieved her divemasters in Mexico and then enhanced her skills in Honduras while concurrently collecting data for her masters thesis.
